New Orleans Mayor Mitchell J. Landrieu welcomed nearly 50 delegations representing cities and countries from around the world to New Orleans for the World Cultural Economic Forum (WCEF) in 2012. The Forum connected international mayors and thought leaders to exchange ideas, build partnerships between their cities, and shape the discussion on culture as an effective tool to spur innovation.

Ragusa helped design the Forum to feature the absolute best of the city’s cultural economy – from food and music to visual art and performance. The WCEF’s resounding success resulted in many new partnerships and economic opportunities. Ragusa’s media relations strategy garnered more than 690 million media impressions.
