Ragusa Consulting specializes in public relations, which encompasses publicity, promotion, public affairs and opinion-making.

A New Orleans native, Todd Ragusa is respected as one of the top public relations strategists in the region. He has managed several nationally award-winning campaigns and has successfully aided numerous clients by connecting their messages to their audiences. He has been responsible for achieving hundreds of millions of media impressions, including publications in national outlets such as BBC, CNN, PBS, Newsweek, The New York Times and USA Today. Also, he has written for a number of high-profile people, including First Lady Laura Bush. He has produced events and conferences, including a nationally award-winning international forum that gathered representatives from over 20 countries to share best practices and discuss cultural and economic issues. In addition, he is skilled in leveraging scenarios and seizing opportunities to make news, such as conducting media roundtables at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival to capture the attention of visiting journalists.

Recently, Ragusa was contracted to serve as then Mayor-Elect Mitch Landrieu’s director of communication.

He received a Master of Arts in International Studies from the Graduate School of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans. He has been awarded numerous academic honors and has acquired international experience from time teaching in Kazakhstan and studying in Costa Rica. A passionate advocate for Louisiana’s recovery and renewal, he lends his expertise in a volunteer capacity to a number of community organizations, including the Big Brother Big Sister Program of Southeast Louisiana and the Young Leadership Council.
