Celebrate Allstate BCS Championship Game with a French Quarter Second Line Parade

Famed St. Augustine Marching Band to Lead Procession Featuring LSU and Alabama Spouses and Special Guests

NEW ORLEANS – Fans of the LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide, as well as fans of good old-fashioned French Quarter fun, are invited to celebrate the Allstate BCS National Championship with a Second Line Parade through the French Quarter today, Jan. 7, at 11:30 a.m.

The spouses of the official traveling parties for LSU and Alabama will join the St. Augustine High School Marching Band as well as team cheerleaders, small floats, horse-drawn carriages and other traditional parade staples.

The parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Pat O’Brien’s and will proceed from the corner of St. Peter and Royal streets, then uptown on Royal Street to Bienville Street and then lakebound on Bienville to the front of Arnaud’s Restaurant for its finish.
